Love for NICU is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit devoted to providing vital support and resources to families with babies in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs). Our mission is to offer comfort, joy, and assistance during a challenging period, ensuring families feel empowered and cared for throughout their NICU journey.

Stars and Stripes campaign for 4th July 2025
We delivered 42 beanies with red and white stripes and white crochet stars. And 29 red, white, and blue baby blankets to the fantastic doctors, nurses, and Chaplain Lake at MCA, ready for July 4th celebrations. We were honored to have a tour of the NICU facility, which is more like a family room environment than a traditional hospital setting. We were also fortunate enough to meet the mother of twins, who was the grateful recipient of two blankets and beanies. When we left, we saw a family being discharged from the NICU who had wrapped their baby up in one of our blankets. We were ecstatic with joy to see our blankets and beanies in use.

The cost of providing 40 blankets and 40 beanies is $500.00; our annual goal is a minimum of $4,000.00.
We also hope to provide the 80 hardworking doctors and nurses with thank-you gifts during Halloween and Christmas.

What we do
Love for NICU, we create handmade blankets and beanies for newborns in the NICU,
providing comfort to the tiniest patients and supporting their families during challenging times.
Our dedicated volunteers knit and crochet with love, special items to bring joy and
warmth throughout the year.
We believe that even small gestures can make a big difference, and
we are committed to ease
the stress faced by families in our community.
